Hints from Donna's Cat, Punky
about working Quarter Stitches...

The Young Punky...Punky Grown...

Note: Punky loves computers and is a great help to me when he sits on top of my monitor!

Note: Punky still loves computers but
he isn't much help anymore!

  • Work Quarter Stitches at the beginning and ending of each row, as you normally work Full Crosses row by row.
  • When going from one area to another, count by Full Stitches.
  • Work only adjacent areas, filling in the design solidly rather than going off very far from completed area. This will avoid counting mistakes.
  • Work designs with alot of Quarter Stitches on single thread evenweave fabric rather than on Aida. It's much easier!
