Blended Thread Stitches Blended Thread Stitches are used in our Sock Monkeys Collection to convey the "look and feel" of the socks from which these monkeys are made. They are accomplished by threading two thread colors through the needle at the same time, and then stitched as if they were a single thread. These stitches resemble the look of some of the "twisted" threads available today.
This simple technique still provides the tonal shading, while at the same time achieves the desired texture of the socks!! In order to keep the Blended and Regular stitches the same weight and thickness, special files with the Blended Color Stops needed to be created. Just choose which version you would like to stitch.
