Copying Files from the CD to your Hard Drive

We recommend copying the design files you will be using from the CD to your Hard Drive. Working with the files on your Hard Drive is much faster than working from the CD, though you certainly can read the files from the CD without copying them!

Our CDs contain two main types of files:
1.    Design Files (Hus, Pes, etc.)
2.    Adobe Acrobat PDF files (the Color Stop Stitchout Order files,  essential to stitching your design in the correct Color Stop Order.

Our CDs are multi-format CDs which means that all of the available filetypes are included on the CD. Since you will most likely be using only one of the filetypes, you should copy only those files to your Hard Drive.
