Simple Multi-hooping Tips
If you are new to our Machine Embroidery Designs, we would like to share a little of our design product philosophy with you! You will find our designs, all cross stitch at this point, a little more complicated in both design and color usage than many other ME designs. We have tried to eliminate any unnecessary color changes and optimize our basic charts to create stitchouts of the highest quality and still retain the beauty of hand cross stitch. Pricing...We are offering our designs as individual designs or you can purchase our collections which are a very good value. Individual designs start at low as $5.00 and our collections start at $29.95.
| With each design, we include a specially designed Thread List (in PDF format) to follow for the color stops. We list generic color names whenever possible so that you may choose the best shades from your own personal selections of threads. Printing the Thread List out on a color inkjet printer will make the stitchout process much easier. | |
While we cannot guarantee the exact colors that will be printed, used as a reference while stitching, our color Thread Listing will help keep you on track! We refer to the DMC floss color number for those of you who are familiar with regular DMC 6-strand Floss. It will be helpful to use DMC's color card as a reference when choosing machine embroidery threads for your stitchouts. We include both Robison-Anton Rayon and Sulky Rayon color numbers for reference as well. Download the DMC Thread Matches Report PDF File... The size of most designs will fit standard 100mm hoops for most machines. Each collection may include some designs that will fit hoops of 5" x 7" or larger. | Each collection will include single designs that can be stitched individually or combined or customized on your machine's touch screen or edited in customizing or digitizing software that many people already own. Many of our collections will include alphabets or numerals as individual files that can be used in this way.

It is Very important to stabilize quite heavily for these very dense cross stitch designs. It is usually best to stabilize with at least two layers of medium weight stabilizer. Often, hooping one layer with the fabric, then putting a second and a third layer beneath the hoop works well. If your machine has a Baste-in-the-Hoop function, we recommend that you use that function. You should stitch an outline of basting around the parameter of the design before beginning the embroidery.
